There are fancy trucks and then there is the luxurious 2018 Ford F-Series Super Duty Limited. It comes with a price tag to match too.
Ford unveiled the all-new 2018 Super Duty Limited at this year’s State Fair of Texas. High-end doesn’t begin to describe it. The sumptuous two-tone leather interior we checked out was gorgeous. The Camelback leather cabin seats are just as Ford described it — like sinking into your favorite leather armchair. The headliner is done in Miko suede and dark ash wood trim combo.
The F-450 Super Duty Limited 4×4 starts at $87,100. That’s a good $10 above the current top Platinum trim. Check every box and you get up to $94,455. Add on one semester of public college for your kid and it caps out above $100k.
The F-250 and F350 versions of the Limited start from $80,835 and $82,010 respectively.
So why make a nearly $100,00 truck? Ford thinks it can sell them. The automaker says 50-percent of Super Duty sales this past year were of the high-end models like the Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum. So despite the high price tag, there’s a market.
