We knew the gorgeousness that is the all-new 2018 Lincoln Navigator was going to cost more than the outgoing model, that much was obvious. But who knew Lincolnís newly debuted Black Label extended-wheelbase version would tally up to near the $100,000 mark.

Lincolnís long-awaited redesigned Navigator, which weíve seen up close more than once, is due out this fall. The base level Premiere trim model will start from $73,250, a nearly $10,000 price bump over the outgoing model.

But hereís where the dollar signs really kick in. The new Navigator Black Label starts at $94,900 for the regular length and $98,100 for the extended wheelbase Navigator L Black Label. Lincoln is also introducing a new Destination theme that features mahogany red Venetian leather inspired by vintage luggage.

The Black Label models come standard with all the goodies lower trims can add with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package and Technology Package including electronic limited-slip rear differential, heavy-duty radiator, two-speed transfer case, adaptive cruise control, heads-up display, lane departure warning, self-park technology, and auto high-beams.

If the upper-$90s price point is a little steep for you, here are your other options. The aforementioned base Premiere trim, which doesnít offer a long wheelbase. So if thatís what youíre after, youíll need to bump up to the Select trim which starts from $77,250. (The Select L tacks on another $4,695. ) What you get for that extra $4.5k is a near foot longer wheelbase measuring 22.9-inches. The extra foot is put to good use with 15 more cubic feet of cargo from an exclusive compartment below the third-row seats.

The Select trim replaces the base 20-inch wheels for 22-inchers. It adds a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging pad, and adaptive suspension.

Reserve trim is the second to top trim and only comes with AWD. Starting at $82,400 and $85,600 for the regular and LWB it adds a panoramic moonroof, A/C front seats, and a second-row center console mirroring the front one.

All Navigators share the same updated powertrain: a 3.5-liter engine that is 70-horsepower punchier bringing the total hp up to 450. Matching the horsepower is nearly 40 more lb-ft of torque for a projection of 500 lb-ft.
2018 also does away with the old six-speed automatic for Fordís new 10-speed automatic transmission.
Rear-wheel-drive is standard, but you can add all-wheel-drive for $2,655 on all but the two top trims which already come standard with it.
All models come standard with LED headlights, a 12-inch gauge cluster, heated front and rear seats, 10-inch touchscreen, blind-spot monitoring, and push button start with proximity key.
The 2018 Navigator and all its trim options go on sale in the fall.
