Take a look at the first-ever full-size LEGO Chevrolet Silverado.

Chevrolet and students from the Oxford Community School’s FIRST LEGO League and Detroit’s Ralph Waldo Emerson Elementary A World in Motion Program unveiled the LEGO model at this year’s North American International Auto Show.

It’s the latest collaboration between Chevrolet and Warner Brothers Pictures. The life-size replica of the all-new 2019 Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss celebrates the debut of the new “The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part” which opens Feb. 8th. A custom mini-build of the Silverado
High Country will make an appearance in the film.

As you’d expect, building it didn’t happen overnight. It took 18 specially trained LEGO master builders and more than 2,000 hours of work. They hand-selected each and every one of the model’s 334,544 pieces. The model also has working lights and graphic details.

A few more fun facts:

  • The LEGO Silverado model measures 72 inches (6 feet) high, 240 inches (20 feet) long and 96 inches (8 feet) wide.
  • Total weight: 3,307 pounds.
  • Most common LEGO brick used: red 2x8 stud brick.
